There isn't going to be another response from him right away. He isn't going to help put TJ in the bed next to him. It'll be just fine to wait. The nurse scolds him quietly for using his phone when she comes in and he tells her that his boyfriend is coming here instead anyway. He's just restless; he can't help it.

He considers getting up just to move but he knows better. He'll be out of here sooner if he just waits in TJ.

TJ hadn't expected a response back from the super soldier. In fact, he shows up within seven minutes. Then talks to the nurses and heads into the room where Steve was.

Walking up to him, he leans down kissing his cheek.

His phone is laying on the bed beside him and he gives the other man a small smile at the kiss. “Hey, that was quick.”

"You only think that was quick because you've been out of it for a while," he tells him. The tone is a bit teasing as he sits down on the edge of the bed.

"Yeah, I guess so," he agrees with a nod and a smile, doing his best to shift so TJ can sit down. "They didn't give you any trouble did they?"

"Why would they give little ol' me trouble?" He asks with a bit of a grin before leaning over and kissing him softly.
