He doesn't get an answer out of her. Instead, there's a plane not far off
that lands and she steps out of it. There's no telling who she got to fly
the plane, but she could've done so herself as well. Not like she didn't
know how to.
Moving over to where she sees him, she can't help but smile. "Put some
clothes on, Stark. Then we'll head back home."
When he saw the plane landing he shifted to cover himself, but when she approached he held up his arms to catch his clothes, giving her a look.
"The offer still stands...you could help warm me up." And yes he knew he was being an ass, but its not every day Captain America finds you naked on a beach in the cold.
"I could," she states giving Tony a bit of a smirk. "However, I don't like
the cold. So there's no way in hell that I'm stripping down out here. The
plane is warmer."
She had a point so he got dressed quickly before jogging up to her and then following her to the plane. "I need to fix the sensors for the suit." He mumbled, flicking a spot on his arm. "Then I can just call it back without going out and looking for it."
"Right now I'm more worried about you than I am the suit," she states
turning to fully look at him. "You can figure the suit out later. Once
we're warm." Especially when she was starting to get cold and she didn't
like it one bit.
"Then move your ass, Tony," she states shaking her head, hiding a smile.
"I'm the one flying this thing. So that requires you in and buckled up
before we can go anywhere."
"I'm moving!" He said, walking towards the front and taking the other seat next to hers. She wouldn't need his help flying, but he wanted to sit up front.
No, she didn't need anyone's help when it came to flying. Once he's seated
and secure she gets them back in the air. "We'll figure the whole suit out
thing later. And we can possibly warm each other up once we've landed
again."
"You will hear absolutely no complaints from me. And warming up is good. I suggest by the fireplace at the tower. We could order out." He smiled at her charmingly.
"You shouldn't tease a girl like that, Tony." Especially one with a very
high metabolism. Something that Stephanie, unfortunately, had. "How about
you surprise me food wise. Then we'll curl up and get warm by the fire."
"Hey I'm not trying to tease. I'm pretty sure I promised you dinner. Though, this doesn't could. I'm taking you out for that...somewhere nice. Hell maybe I'll take you to Paris for dinner." He winked over at her.
That gets a small smile out of Stephanie," I've never actually been to
Paris before." Not in the capacity to where she could enjoy it anyway. And
definitely not here in modern times either. "I'd like that, Tony."
"I think maybe some time away would be good for you. We don't have to just go to Paris. We could go anywhere you wanted." He said, leaning back in his seat.
"I don't want to be close to home, Tony," she states softly. "I want to be
halfway across the world." Hell, she didn't want to be bothered. Definitely
not by anything dealing with the end of the world. "Italy."
"Sounds good to me. We can do Italy. Oh we could go to Venice. Have a moonlit gondola ride. Maybe have some Venetian guy sing to you." He looked over, catching her eye and winking at her.
"Don't know how I feel about having someone sing to me," she states with a
smile. "Oh, forgot to tell you that Jarvis is in here with us too." She,
for once, actually had that damn hi tech phone with her that Tony insisted
she needed. "So if you need anything before we land, he can order it or get
it for us."
Tony thought about that, rubbing his chin before speaking out loud to JARVIS. "Yo, JAR, how about you order us some Thai from that place just down the street from the tower. You know what I like and...get a few extras too. I think Steph will like that."
